]]> Holding a Yemeni passport and want to visit the following countries? Let me know if you ever manage to get through since they refuse admission to all Yemeni passport holders.

  1. Iran – We were eligible for visa on arrival until it suddenly changed to Admission Refused recently in 2018.
  2. Kuwait – Regardless of your GCC residence status. I am a GCC resident but I am still not allowed to enter Kuwait
  3. Libya
  4. The United States – We all know why 🙂

I hope the list ends right here and for the above countries to soon lift the ban on Yemenis.

]]> If you happen to have difficulty in obtaining visas such as me with a passport rank of the bottom 6 in the world; writing a letter helps!

Below is a template letter that I have used when applying for my visa and it has proven to be successful most times.

I am (marital status) to a (Nationality of Partner) citizen since (Date). ***Use this line only if you have a partner.
My total earning is ($$$) per month hence I am able to gather more than enough funds for my expenses in (Country). Combined with my income and credit card limit up to ($$$), I can easily afford this trip considering that I am a low budget backpacker.
My passion for traveling (Elaborate on this as much as possible to show your genuine purpose of travel). I have visited (Mention all countries visited). I do not have any criminal record in (Home Country) or any other countries that I have visited.
