Actually, an American friend of mine just entered Yemen through Salalah border yesterday. He got the visa from the border. I guess it’s pretty much based on the immigration officer you bump into. I’ll definitely post on the bus companies soon.

That incident happened 2 years ago but it’s not the case anymore.

Also, the last I heard, AQAP was in control of much or most of the Hadhramaut, including Mukalla. Has that changed?
